Privacy, plainly explained.

What we store.

Saved gifts are stored in your own browser. We do not require a customer account or collect payment information. If you send us a message, we store the name, email address, and message you provide so we can respond. Product reports store the product and selected issue.

Administrator security records.

Private administrator sign-in records include successful and failed attempts, IP address, reported browser details and an approximate country derived from a local database. These records support account security and are retained for 180 days by default. Login IP addresses are not sent to an external geolocation service. Passwords and session tokens are not recorded.

Necessary cookies and local storage.

We use a session cookie for secure forms and private administration. Your browser stores saved gift identifiers and your analytics choice locally. These functions do not create an advertising profile. You can remove saved gifts through the site or clear them in your browser settings.

Visits to retailers.

When you follow a product link, you leave our site. The destination retailer or affiliate network may use cookies or other tracking under its own privacy policy. Affiliate links can identify a referral from this publication. We count outbound offer clicks in daily totals without storing a visitor identifier in those totals.

Optional analytics.

When analytics is configured, it loads only after you choose to allow it. You can change that choice using Cookie settings in the footer. Private administration and contact message contents are excluded from analytics. We do not send gift-search text or contact form fields as analytics events.

Security and retention.

We restrict access to submitted messages and administration. Login protection uses hashed network identifiers to limit repeated attempts. Messages and reports are retained while needed for support and record keeping; contact us to request access or deletion, subject to applicable obligations. We do not sell your submitted contact information.

Use our contact page for privacy questions or requests. Tell us what you would like us to locate without sending payment information or other unnecessary sensitive details.
